Deviation Actions
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES:
Members can submit to the landscape, waterscape, sky, and infrascapes galleries. The featured gallery is reserved for selected images and the contributors.
Members can submit only one deviation per week.
We accept only scenery themed, high quality photographs.
We do not accept every submission! All photos need 3 votes from the group admins.
Contributors are trying to write short remarks if they decline a photo, but it is not mandatory.
If your deviation is declined, please do not resubmit it, and send your next entry in the next week.
We do not accept underexposed, overexposed, blurred, noisy or overedited images. No photomanipulatons! HDR will only be accepted if it is not overdone.

We always search for talented photographers, no matter how many pageviews you have. Contributors can recommend members to be promoted.
Promoted members become a contributor. Contributors can submit any of their work without moderation.

New submission rules...
Hello everyone!
We have a new submission system.
Every member can submit deviations in the gallery faves. Submissions are open for 24hours from now. Please submit only one photo! Every submission will be accepted. If the submission time is over, the admins select the best 10 deviations (or more depending on how many submissions we receive) that will be featured in the group gallery!
This is a test run now.
How to submit:
Go to the group faves, then Submissions 2010 January folder http://the-scenery.deviantart.com/favourites/?38640442
Push suggest a Favourite button then choose your gallery, and select the deviation you wish to submit.

Hello everyone,
We want only the best. This has been my idea, when I created this group. The moderators are still trying to maintain the gallery quality on a high level. The sad thing in it is that we decline many photos. As I see, this is not a good system for the group members. There are many angry and disappointed people. I am very unhappy with this.
So, the submissions for members are closed until a new system gets ready. Contributors can still submit.
Any idea is welcome!

Really don't know what is the criteria to get a picture in this group. Adios amigos I am out! I've seen far worse submitions published.
